Eastern Suburbs Funerals Named a Finalist in the 2026 Randwick City Business Excellence Awards

Being recognised by the community you serve is one of the most meaningful forms of appreciation a local business can receive. That’s why we’re so proud to share some exciting news: Eastern Suburbs Funerals has been named a finalist in the 2026 Randwick City Business Excellence Awards.

Presented by Randwick City Council, the Business Excellence Awards are held every two years to recognise and celebrate outstanding businesses across the Randwick Local Government Area. From Randwick and Coogee to Bondi, Maroubra, Clovelly, Kensington and beyond, the Awards shine a light on local businesses that go above and beyond for the families and communities they serve. Finalists are selected through community votes, before a panel of independent judges chooses the category winners at a Presentation Evening on Wednesday 9 September 2026, held at the Australian Turf Club – Royal Randwick Racecourse.

For a family-owned funeral service like ours, being named a finalist means a great deal. It reflects the trust that so many Eastern Suburbs families have placed in us during some of the most difficult days of their lives, and it’s a reminder of why we do what we do.
